revolutionary!! this changes the game. Less wear and tear on clutch and transmission for beginner who can't shift for shiz. For veterans, 1 less thing to worry about and more mental dedication towards enjoying the ride!! Can't wait. I'm a honda fan boy for life as long as reliability remains the same as it always been or gets better. Congrats team honda!

That bike is an absolute fail. Plastic over plastic, horrible Design (CFMoto 450mt is what many buyers wish), boring color variants, no spoked wheels, seat hight is too low to call this an adventure bike, power is ok for a 500ccm bike but could be increased in torque and ccm to encounter the high weight, 21" front wheel is what this bike needs to be called adventure bike maybe as a 2nd optional bike variant, too expensive for what it beats. Changing the name, put a tft display on it and a changing the design a bit, is not enough and there are not many competitors (Himalayan 450, 390 Adventure, 450mt, Trk500) so why make it so weak in many points

Electric Motorcycles and scooters will always be a hard sell , I think the little battery scooters we see everyone on today has almost replaced the 50 cc scooter ? In my opinion a 125 is far superior because it can go everywhere all the time, any time, all day with only a few seconds refill for a lot more range and at weekends people can tour on a 125 if they want, the Cub 125 people travel all over on this bike with just 7 Hp. If Honda replaces the Super Cub 125 with a battery version well, for starters they couldn't without radically changing the looks, the bike would have tiny range and take hrs to charge and would mean you could only use the bike as a city bike. I do think places like Europe should be promoting 125s like the Super Cub over big heavy Electric SUV which still uses more energy to move than a 125 and take up much more space in out towns and cities and EV is not that environmentally friendly when you look at how batteries are produced and all the mining etc and the fact that the grid isn't 100% 0 emissions. I would much rather see more Cub 125s on the road than big EV SUV !

I wish Honda would make a Classic version of the Cub rather than just a modern retro. For example, in my opinion these things have no place on the Cub as it goes completely against the character of the bike. LED lights Keyless start LCD display What I would like to see on a Super Cub Classic is the above omitted and a more original speedo and analogue fuel gauge like on the Cub 90, it's actually nicer and easier to see. A larger fuel tank would be nice. One of the big attractions to the Cubs was cost, easy to maintain and fix, plenty of parts available and their sheer simplicity which is being eroded with the introduction of more electronics. A bit turn off for me is all the tech on bikes and TFT screens look absolutely terrible on bikes and worst of all is this tech is not optional. Another thing I would love to see Honda do is advertise the bikes on Radio and TV, where I live in Ireland I have never seen advertisement for the Cub bikes or any motorcycle really and I know there's a lot of potential buyers out there here in Ireland that are simply not aware the Honda Super Cub exists ! Honda in my opinion should make more classic looking bikes with none of the tech or make it optional for people who prefer basic. Most of the Honda range of bikes today while excellent bikes are just lacking character, lots of plastic , tech and TFT screens just make the bikes more appliance like btu thankfully we can still get the Cub. The Rebel could have looked more original, there is a big market for these types of bikes 2nd hand, the current rebel is all matt black and it has a really bad digital instrument cluster, the basic speedo on the original looked far better in my opinion. The Shadow, not available in Europe ? at least keeps nice analogue display but all matt black. Anyway, Honda please start an advertisement campaign all over Europe or at least find out which countries do not advertise your bikes because I know I have never seen a Super Cub in Ireland.

The 2024 Africa Twin is an incredible improvement on the release of the 2020 model when it was upgraded to the current 1,084cc motor. The torque has increased and is much smoother and more measured in its deployment from zero to high rpm. It really is a pearler of a twin motor with a great traditional 'twin' sound with the upgraded 2024 muffler. I'm a fan and a Honda tragic from way back and can hardly wait to own one. I would very much like to buy the '25 model next year. HOWEVER, Honda will NOT be getting my money until at least some or all of the following glitches/negatives are resolved: 1) The atrociously long time it takes to boot the TFT screen and THEN it requires a touch on an 'OK' button before giving you access. WTF Honda?! No other manufacturers spoil the ride experience like this so WTF Honda?! 2) The switchgear needs an overhaul - simplify it AND include backlighting 3) An easy way to get the seat height BELOW 800mm. Please don't try to tell me it can't be done Honda. I'm 5'6" (167cm) and I would like to be able to flatfoot. 795mm seat height is a worthy goal Honda. 4) For the top-of-the-line model (mainly road use owners) ditch those ridiculous spoked wheels and give us some tasteful forged cast aluminium wheels. Cleaning spokes is an absolute nightmare. We already have enough cleaning with the chain drive, so, please Honda - some alloys. 5) For two-up touring it most definitely needs some more power. They should either bump the capacity to 1250cc for another 30hp OR, preferably, finally release the supercharged model on which they hold a Japanese patent and as such has been in development since 2019. One would think that simply in the name of competition with the Multistradas, GS1300s, Triumphs et al, Honda would want to increase the power at least somewhat. It is great for low speed stuff but 2-up with luggage on the highway it does need quite a bit more. Please! (from all reports the supercharger design is for low-mid range torque - not meant to be a high-rev Kawasaki H2 competitor). 6) Not mandatory for my purchase but, with DCT, a reverse gear for parking such a heavy baby would be handy. You'd only need 'impulse power' Scotty :-) 7) Does that great sounding rear muffler really have to be the size of a boat anchor? So there's my list of gripes for a bike I love a lot. My wishlist. How about it Honda - all for '25?
